About
Designer who builds, builder who writes.
I'm Caleb Sylvest — a design engineer with a decade of experience building product interfaces and design systems. I work at the intersection of design craft and engineering rigor.
I've spent most of my career at product companies, leading design and front-end work on tools used by creative professionals. I care deeply about the details — the kind that most people don't notice but everyone feels.
What I do
Design systems, product interfaces, developer tooling, and occasionally the strategy behind all of it. I'm most effective when I can move between design and code freely — which is most of the time.
This site
This is my digital garden. A place to share work, publish writing, track reading, and document experiments. It's meant to grow slowly and deliberately over time.
